Peter Piampiano, M.D.

Dr. Piampiano joined Moran, Rowen & Dorsey, Inc. in 2007.  Dr. Piampiano received his undergraduate degree in biology from California State University at Fullerton.  He was later accepted to Creighton University School of Medicine. After medical school, he completed his internship and radiology residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center in 2001.  In 2003, Dr. Piampiano completed his Vascular and Interventional Radiology Fellowship at Loma Linda University.  He is certified by the American Board of Radiology.

Prior to joining MRD, Dr. Piampiano worked as a radiologist for several hospitals in the Southern California area.  While completing his residency and fellowship he was also an Associate Clinical Professor at Loma Linda University School of Medicine.  A unique attribute that sets Dr. Piampiano apart from most radiologists is that he was an x-ray technologist prior to pursuing his career as a physician.  It was in his role as an x-ray technologist that he decided he wanted to further his radiology education and become a radiologist.

Outside of patient care, Dr. Piampiano devotes his time to his wife and best friend, Lula.  Together they enjoy the outdoors, sports, and traveling.

Dr. Piampiano says the best part of working at MRD is, “knowing you work with a dynamic team of respected healthcare professionals who exhibit the utmost level of integrity… and consider you as part of their family.”
