Andrew Knoll, M.D.

Dr. Andrew Knoll joined Moran, Rowen & Dorsey in July 2010.  He received his medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY.  While at New York Medical College, Dr. Knoll was recognized for his academic excellence and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha National Honor Medical Society.  In 2005, Dr. Knoll began his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of California at Irvine (UCI) Medical Center, where he later served as Chief Resident for the Department of Radiological Sciences.  He has also completed a mini fellowship in Cardiovascular CT at UCI's Cardiovascular Imaging Center of Education and Research.  In 2010, Dr. Knoll completed his Musculoskeletal Imaging fellowship at the University of California, San Diego.  Dr. Knoll is certified by the American Board of Radiology.

Dr. Knoll's fellowship training in Musculoskeletal Imaging has rendered him an expert in his field. He has been the recipient of many awards throughout his training, including the RSNA Roentgen Resident/Fellow Research Award in 2008.  In an effort to keep informed of all the latest technologies and breakthroughs in his field, Dr. Knoll belongs to several local and national medical societies.  Dr. Knoll is also fluent in Spanish, which is of great benefit in facilitating interactions with our Spanish-speaking patients. 

Although Dr. Knoll is native of New Haven, CT., he is happy to call Southern California his home. Aside from being an outdoorsman, he is also an avid sports enthusiast.  Whenever he can find the time, he enjoys skiing, long distance running and attending sporting events.  Dr. Knoll is a devoted husband and father, and strives for the perfect work-life balance. 

He is very glad to have found MRD and eagerly looks forward to becoming an integral part of the local medical community.
